One of my new year resolutions for 2021 was to design a font and make one sale. That is the story of how Lucerne Grotesk was born—a curious endeavor to explore a vast new territory in typography which fascinated me for years.
Lucerne Grotesk is a unique display font with a classic Swiss flair & visual inktraps. The lowercase is shaped by Renaissance letterpress type & the silhouettes of the uppercase letters are inspired by the graceful architectural letterforms of the Art Deco period.
