Between 2020 and 2023 the South-American country of Chile experienced an extremely rare phenomenon—it sought to fully rewrite its constitution. As part of the lengthy process, lawyers and politically-oriented professionals were offered the chance to run for the opportunity to be part of the rewriting committee.
Henry Boys, a conservative, young, and ambitious constitutional lawyer with a deep concern for truth and the well-being of his native country's citizens ran for his local district in Vitacura, Santiago.
The chosen trademark solution tastefully reflects his mission through a monogram that outlines a copihue—Chile's national flower, a well-known symbol. The campaign further emphasized his mission through the employment of bold layouts & clean typography rounded by the Chile's national colors: red, blue, and white.

"I worked with Marcus when I ran for political office in 2020. He designed my campaign logo, which was very attractive and effective. He created a simple, visually clear, and powerful logo. The logo allowed us to stand out in a very hard competition and distinguished our proposal from the rest of candidates. Since I ran as an independent, it was very important to highlight the difference from the traditional politicians and the corruption of the system. For those purposes the logotype was very insightful and produced the expected outcome. I'm very grateful and pleased with Marcus' work."
